Katie Holmes got the chance to accept the Max Mara Face of the Future honor at the Crystal + Lucy Awards in LA last night. It was announced that she would be the recipient earlier this year, and she already celebrated the win with a dinner hosted by Max Mara and Vanity Fair on Wednesday. Katie had the support of her parents, Martin and Kathleen, backstage after she took the microphone, and she also made time to pose with bright young star Elle Fanning. Elle and Tom Cruise had their own moment for the cameras when they were snapped together at the Super 8 premiere last week. The Women in Film fundraiser, which was hosted byBridesmaids funny girl Melissa McCarthy, also brought out Rose McGowan, Annette Bening, and Neil Patrick Harris among others. Annette picked up the Crystal Award for her excellence in film while Neil stepped out for the event just one day after turning 38.
