Alexander Skarsgard Just Does It With Another Day at the Gym

Alexander Skarsgard wrapped up a workout at Equinox on Friday in LA and left the gym in a very tight shirt. The actor has been focusing on his fitness for the past several months as he works on True Blood, which returns on June 26, and keeps up a busy modeling schedule, having posed for the covers of both Interview and GQ's latest issues. Alexander has more than just his popular HBO series to promote with two of his big-screen projects, Straw Dogsand Melancholia, out this Fall. In the meantime, though, fans of the bloodsucking Eric Northman will be glad to see one of TV's top vampires back on the small screen. Several ofTrue Blood's stars will be at Comic-Con next month in San Diego, and while Alexander won't be joining the panel, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are both slated to attend.

Alexander Skarsgård Stops For Coffee as True Blood Readies For a Return

Alexander Skarsgård was in shades and a beanie as he left Ed's Coffee in LA after lunch yesterday. The actor has been hanging out on the West Coast for the past few months as he taped season four of True Blood ahead of its debut June 26 on HBO. When Alexander wasn't tied up on the set, he focused on his fitness with trips to the gym and hikes with his dog. His shooting schedule prevented him from joining in on the festivities at last month's Cannes Film Festival, where his movie Melancholia earned his leading lady Kirsten Dunst the best actress honor. It's just one of several big-screen efforts he has under his belt, since Straw Dogs, which costars girlfriend Kate Bosworth, hits theaters this Fall, and Battleship is out in 2012.

Alexander Skarsgård clocked a late night on the set of True Blood in LA on Thursday before hitting Runyon Canyon with a furry friend for a hike yesterday afternoon. The actor has been back in character as the bloodsucking Eric for the last couple of months as he preps for the hit series to return to HBO on June 26. He teamed up with his costar Deborah Woll for the evening shoot, which featured a few dead bodies, and the pair were spotted sharing light moments between takes. Alexander's vampire duties prevented him from making his way to Cannes last month with his Melancholia leading lady Kirsten Dunst. She picked up the best actress honor at the cinematic celebration, but the two will likely get a chance to reunite when the film makes its expected stateside debut this Fall. Alexander has been focusing on his physique during his downtime from the show by hitting the gym often. The actor is also a familiar face on newsstands this month since he's on the covers of both GQ and Interview.
