Katie Holmes Has Ashley Greene and Anna Kendrick to Support Her Face of the Future Win

Katie Holmes was the center of attention at a Vanity Fair and MaxMara dinner in LA last night. She was honored with Women in Film's MaxMara Face of the Future award, and hit the red carpet in a navy pantsuit from the brand. Twilight stars Anna Kendrick and Ashley Greenewere also on hand for the event, as was Something Borrowed's leading man Colin Egglesfield. Katie attended the MaxMara fashion show in Milan earlier this year with her mom, Kathleen, and design partner Jeanne Yang following the announcement that she had been selected as the recipient of the annual prize. She has to wait until Friday's Crystal + Lucy awards, though, to officially pick up the statue. Katie was dressed down for a coffee run with Jeanne earlier in the day, after spending much of the week with her daughter, Suri Cruise, by her side.

Ashley Greene Loves New York But Works Out in LA

Ashley Greene worked up a sweat, and an appetite, with a friend in LA yesterday before hitting Whole Foods to refuel. The actress is a frequent gym-goer and is one of several celebrity fans of trainer Tracy Anderson, who also helps tone the likes of Nicole Richie and Gwyneth Paltrow. Last night, after taking care of her fitness and picking up some food, Ashley headed out on the town to watch a show by '80s cover band Steel Panther and took to Twitter to say the performance cracked her up. Ashley may be a West Coast girl at heart, but she also made two recent trips to the Big Apple, indulging her stylish side as she joined fellow stars like Jessica Alba and the Olsens at the 2011 CFDA Awards and partied with an A-list group at the Met Gala.

The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards were a colorful affair at the Lincoln Center in NYC last night. The evening honored designers from Alexander Wang to Proenza Schouler — check out the full list of CFDA Fashion Awards winners on Fashionologie. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen earned their first nomination for The Row, though it was Prabal Gurung that took home the Swarovskiaward for womenswear. MK and Ashley were both decked out in their own line when it came to dresses and bags, with Mary-Kate adding a Chanel jacket to complete the look. Jessica Albawas summery in Diane von Furstenberg while both Miranda Kerr and Ashley Greene looked fabulous in Michael Kors.

Naomi Watts and Kerry Washington both wore custom Calvin Klein collections and Alessandra Ambrosio was decked out in Prabal Gurung. The supermodel twittered her excitement when Gurung took home the honors. Kirsten Dunst kept things classically tailored in a Patrik Ervelltuxedo. Lady Gaga sported a bright green wig and some insanely high heels while heading in to be recognized during the show for her fashion icon status. Anderson Cooper played host for the evening and was joined by some other stylish men, including Kanye West and Gerard Butler.
