Emma Stone Looks Fine in Feathers and Talks Her Newfound Fame in Elle

On why her fame feels surreal: “It’s so funny how different life could have been. I went to so many auditions. I remember my audition for Heroes. I went in right after Hayden Panettiere. Now here we are in this rented house. It feels like it just happened.”On how she's enjoying her success: “These past two years, I’ve stopped having to remind myself to be present, which has been the greatest gift. Because I know it’s so fleeting. I’ll kick my ass later on if I don’t enjoy it right now. But it does make you realize that so much of the joy of it is the journey. The struggle is such a lovely part of it.”On feeling comfortable in her own skin: “I like to look like a person. It drives me crazy when you see women in movies playing teachers, and they have biceps. It totally takes me out of the movie. I start thinking, 'Wow, that actress playing this part really looks great!'”On why she won't talk about her former boyfriend, Kieran Culkin: “You have to keep some things sacred."

It's not the only transformation that Emma, who picked up a best female performance popcorn statuette for her Easy A role at last weekend's MTV Movie Awards, has undergone this year. She opened up to the glossy about her seemingly overnight change from relative unknown to superstar and how she's handling the transition. Kristen, Reese, and Emma Lead the Short and Sparkling MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon in Universal City when the stars hit the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, with lovely ladies leading the way. Kristen Stewart looked super sexy inBalmain, though she quickly swapped her heels for sneakers when she got into the show. She's lucky she was in comfortable footwear, since she spent a lot of time walking back and forth from her seat to the stage when Eclipse swept the night — check out all the MTV Movie Awards winners on Buzz. Reese Witherspoon looked adorable in her mini dress and had her friend Chelsea Handler along to help present the actress with the Generation Award. Nina Dobrev, like Kristen, went with red while Leighton Meester matched Miss Stewart in choice of designer. Leighton wore her own hot Balmain, though her Gossip Girl costar Blake Livelyskipped the arrivals line and only emerged when she presented with Ryan Reynolds.

Brooklyn Decker brought her best girl friend as her date for the night and Emma Stone caught up with all her sexy leading men including Andrew Garfield and Ryan Gosling. The other adorable Emma, Miss Watson, wore a super short Marchesa and helped to present a new clip from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow Part II. Selena Gomez picked her own LWD and took to the carpet without her boyfriend Justin Bieber. He had his own special accessories for the night — Justin Bieber wore earrings to the show. Ryan Gosling Joins Emma and Steve For Crazy, Sexy, Best Villain Presenting at MTV Movie Awards

Crazy, Stupid, Love costars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, and Steve Carell took the stage together to present the best villain golden popcorn at tonight's MTV Movie Awards. The statue went to Tom Felton for his work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I, though so far it's the Twilight crew who are cleaning up. Ryan Gosling has had his own epic moment at the show in the past when he and then-girlfriend Rachel McAdams won for best kiss, which just went to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for the third year running. Emma was still wearing the cute Bottega Veneta dress she sported on the red carpet as she was flanked by her handsome leading men. Emma Stone showed off her back-to-red locks on the carpet at this evening's MTV Movie Awards in Universal City. The hair color, which she debuted earlier in the week, signifies she's done with work as a blonde in The Amazing Spider-Man and she sported a lacy Bottega Veneta dress to go with it. Emma met up with her spidey Andrew Garfield inside, and we spotted the two hugging hello. Emma and Easy A are up for a handful of awards during tonight's show, including best comedic performance and best female performance for her work in the film. Emma showed off her return to red hair after going blond for her role inThe Amazing Spider-Man earlier this year. She sported the lighter hue for the last six months and was most recently spotted with platinum locks at the Met Gala. Bryce, meanwhile, had her own new look to debut, since she was sporting a baby bump. The actress announced her pregnancy in May, though she covered up any signs of a growing stomach with a billowy dress at the Cannes Film Festival. Bryce is expecting her second child with husband Seth Gabel, and now she's set to spend the next few months prepping for their special delivery andThe Help's release in August.
