George Clooney: Sailing on Lake Como!

George Clooney climbs aboard a boat on Wednesday (June 15) in Lake Como, Italy.

The 50-year-old actor was joined on his sailing excursion by his friend, directorBen Weiss, and his bodyguard,Giovanni.

George is currently vacationing in Italy while on break from filming his movie,Gravity. He has been taking in the sights of the country with his gorgeous girlfriend, Elisabetta Canalis.

The couple were spotted together that evening leaving Restaurant Il Gatto Nero in Como.

Last week, the pair spent some time in Milan, where George reportedly filmed a commercial for a European bank!

George Clooney's on a Boat While Elisabetta Canalis Gets Down to Work

George Clooney brought his boat out onto Lake Como yesterday afternoon. He had his friend Ben Weiss for company, since Elisabetta Canalis had to head into Milan for an appearance on the show Fornelli and Coltelli. George is in her home country of Italy during a break from shooting Gravity in London with Sandra Bullock. There's been time for date nights for Elisabetta and George at their favorite restaurant, Il Gatto Nero, not far from his vacation home. Work separated them again yesterday, so Elisabetta could be on TV. She donned an asymmetrical orange tube dress, which she paired with an apron to do a cooking demo that involved zesting lemons before showing off her skills on the dance floor.

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis Have a Candle-Lit Italian Date Night

George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis had dinner yesterday at a romantic restaurant, Il Gatto Nero, in Cernobbio, Italy. It's one of their favorite spots near his Lake Como home, as George and Elisabetta dined there last August too. The couple are in Elisabetta's home country, so that George can work on an ad campaign during a break in shooting Gravity, which he's been filming in London alongside Sandra Bullock. George has even been able to bond with Sandra's son Louis, as the trio was photographed having fun with an iPhone during downtime on set. Elisabetta and George haven't been seen together much over the last few months, but they've apparently just been keeping their romance away from the public eye. In fact, Elisabetta recently spoke about her marriage plans with George, saying that she's not aching to settle down yet but does hope for a wedding someday.

Elisabetta Canalis Has Marriage on the Brain as She and George Clooney Arrive in Milan

George Clooney had his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis by his side yesterday when they arrived at Milan's Principe Di Savoia hotel. He's apparently left the London set of Gravity in order to shoot a commercial in Elisabetta's native country. George has been focused on his new project, though Elisabetta hasn't slowed down her interviewing and press work. In a recent issue of the Italian language magazine Chi, Elisabetta said she and George might marry. "I am very happy at the moment — thanks to my man and my fairytale is continuing. We are a couple that never gets bored," she said. "I am a firm believer in marriage, in the future I will be married, but for the time being I am happy as I am. I don't need anything to confirm how happy I am." George is well known as one of Hollywood's biggest bachelors, but he and Elisabetta nonetheless seem to be going strong as they come up on their second anniversary this Summer.

George Clooney Snaps Pictures and Dotes on Sandra's Little Louis

George Clooney joined his Gravity costar Sandra Bullock and her adorable little guy, Louis, on the set of the film in London yesterday. The actor used his iPhone to capture some pictures of the supercute tot, who looked precious in a wide-brimmed hat, and chatted with Sandra. George might not have any kids of his own, but he does play a dad in the upcoming The Descendants, and he seemed to have an easy time tapping into his paternal side around Louis. Sandra is back to work after taking some time off during her son's infancy. She just started working with George on the drama about a space-shuttle disaster and recently wrapped filming Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close opposite Tom Hanks. Louis has been a frequent fixture behind the scenes on her movies this year, and it's no surprise that the Oscar-winning mother is among your favorite celebrity moms in the 2011 Pop 100.
