Gwyneth Paltrow: Glee Concert Surprise Performance!

Gwyneth Paltrow hits the stage duringGlee Live! In Concert! on Thursday (June 16) at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The 38-year-old actress, who guest starred on the hit Fox show as substitute teacher Holly Holiday, belted out Cee Lo Green’s “Forget You.”

After performing “River Deep, Mountain High” with Amber Riley, Naya Riveraclaimed she was “the sassiest” member of the Glee club, when Gwyneth popped out, telling her, “Not so fast!”

Also pictured: Kevin McHale, Harry Shum Jr., Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Mark Salling, Chord Overstreet, and Jenna Ushkowitz.

Jane Lynch also made a surprise appearance to kick off the Chevrolet-sponsored show, which was filmed for the upcoming Glee 3D concert movie, and to also introduce the Warblers.

Gwyneth Paltrow Makes Her Annual Appearance at the Bent on Learning Party

Gwyneth Paltrow hit the red carpet in NYC last night to attend the Bent on Learning charity's annual fundraiser. She, along with yogi Russell Simmons, were on hand to receive honors from the organization, which Gwyneth has supported by attending its events in 2010 and 2009. Bent on Learning's aim is to bring yoga into inner city schools in the Big Apple. The bash was thrown by Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet Eisner, who recently collaborated with Gwyneth on a special Alice + Olivia fashion guide. Gwyneth arrived just before the presentations began and rushed to her seat, but her friends like Molly Sims and Jessica Seinfeld were happy to talk about working out with the actress. Recently engaged Molly said she's done Tracy Anderson's workouts with Gwyneth, commenting, "She's so good! She's so hardcore." Jessica, meanwhile, doesn't workout with Gwyneth anymore. She said, "I used to, but she's too strong for me! I used to do [the Tracy Anderson Method] but I always change everything up every 18 months. I think it's good for you."

Gwyneth Kate Paltrow is an American actress. She made her acting debut on stage in 1990 and started appearing in films in 1991. After appearing in several films throughout the decade, Paltrow gained early notice for her work in films such as Se7en and Emma. Following the films, Sliding Doors and A Perfect Murder, Paltrow garnered worldwide recognition through her performance in Shakespeare in Love, for which she won an Academy Award for Best Actress, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, for Outstanding Lead Actress and as a member of the Outstanding Cast.

In 2008, she appeared in the highest grossing movie of her career, the superhero film Iron Man, and then reprised her role as Pepper Potts in its sequel, Iron Man 2. Paltrow also appeared in the television series, Glee and has been the face of Estée Lauder's Pleasures perfume since 2005. She is married to Chris Martin, the lead vocalist of Coldplay.
