Sources close to Crystal and Jordan tell us Dr. Phil's son gave her a shoulder to cry on when she fled the Playboy Mansion -- but most of their time has been spent in a Hollywood recording studio ... where they are working on Crystal's new album.
Jordan is a singer/songwriter who used to be on the same label as Crystal.
As for dating rumors ... we're told they've been friends for about a year, and even though Crystal's single now -- both of them are ONLY interested in banging out music ... for now.

Crystal Harris -- Hef Will Never Get Married Again
Twice-married Hugh Hefner will remain a swinging bachelor until he's dead -- at least according to the woman he was supposed to marry this weekend.
Ex-fiancée Crystal Harris went on KIIS FM with Ryan Seacrest this morning -- days after she called off her wedding with Hef -- claiming the Playboy mogul has now bowed out of the marriage game ... for good.
According to Crystal, Hef had only agreed to marry her because he believed it was what she wanted -- and he was actually RELIEVED when she called the whole thing off.
Crystal said the Playboy way of life just rubbed her the wrong way -- adding, "This isn't the lifestyle for me. Multiple girls around all the time. The Playboy lifestyle. I just wanted to be true to myself."

Crystal Harris Ditched Hefner Over Money and Music
Hugh Hefner was left at the altar because his 25-year-old fiancee Crystal Harris wanted two things -- a bigger allowance and a career in the music biz.
Sources close to Crystal tell us she was fed up with the "couple hundred dollar" weekly allowance she got from Playboy -- and wanted to make her own cheese.
We're told Crystal purely focused on launching her music career -- even with the wedding just days away.
Sources involved in planning the massive wedding say Crystal felt like she "couldn't be married to Hef and have a successful music career" -- even though millions and millions of people are married with careers ... and with MUCH less money.

Hugh Hefner's fiancee Crystal Harris is a real-life runaway bride -- 5 days before walking down the aisle ... she bailed out of the Playboy Mansion and multiple sources say the wedding is off!
Our sources -- who are all at the mansion -- say Crystal, 25, and Hef, 85, had a nasty argument this weekend on the phone. When the dust settled Crystal decided to 86 the nuptials and quickly moved her stuff out.
The wedding was supposed to go down Saturday. It would have been Hef's, umm ... third marriage.
UPDATE: Hef just tweeted -- "The wedding is off."
