Christina Fulton and Nic are in court today ... trying to settle her $13 million lawsuit claiming Cage didn't give her the home he promised, causing her emotional distress.
Outside the courtroom where the settlement conference is taking place, Christina mouthed off that she was taking legal steps to get a conservatorship for Weston by the end of this week.

Nic Cage to Baby Mama: Lay Off Weston!!!
Nic Cage is scoffing at his baby mama's attempt to get a conservatorship over their son, Weston, telling TMZ, "I hope Ms. Fulton will come to her senses one day and get some help."

Nic Cage -- The Man Hunt for Weston
The one-man search party was 39-year-old Kevin Villegas (left) -- who worked as an assistant for Nic Cage for the past 5 years. We're told Kevin's primary responsibility was looking after Weston.
But Tuesday, when Weston went M.I.A -- sources tell us Nic dispatched Kevin to track down the 21-year-old and bring him home. Kevin quickly located his target in L.A., but we're told, Weston was resistant and aggressive -- even threatening to rip off Kevin's "Christian f**king head."
We're told Kevin -- who served with the U.S. military -- feared for his life because Weston is a highly-trained fighter ... and attacked Cage with a flurry of punches.
Cops came and Weston was hospitalized for a mental evaluation. Weston says he may press charges.

Weston Cage's Mom -- Unwelcome at Hospital
Weston Cage's mother Christina Fulton is persona non grata at the hospital where her son is being treated -- because TMZ has learned, Weston himself turned her away when she tried to visit.
Sources close to Nicolas Cage tell us, Weston is pissed that his mother's been blabbing to the media -- blaming the entire situation on his dad.
We're told Weston has been estranged from his mother for some time -- he doesn't want to see her, and he certainly doesn't want her to visit him in the hospital.

Weston's Mom -- It's All Nic Cage's Fault!
Weston Cage's mother is FURIOUS with her ex Nicolas Cage -- claiming her son wouldn't be in the hospital right now if not for the actor's toxic influence. 
An emotional Christina Fulton was leaving the L.A. hospital where her son is being treated Wednesday morning, after he was taken down by his personal trainer and subdued by police Tuesday. Cops feared he might be having a mental breakdown.
In the footage, Fulton lashes out at Nic -- blaming him for the entire tragic situation.
Nic Cage -- At His Son's Side in Ambulance
Nic Cage jumped to his son Weston's aide yesterday moments after the 20-year-old got into an insane brawl with his trainer ... causing cops to have him taken to a local hospital for mental evaluation.
As we first reported, after cops arrived at the Hollywood restaurant where Weston went off, they strapped him to a gurney and placed him in an ambulance, fearing he was unstable.
In the photo, you see Weston in the ambulance, wearing his unmistakable Thor-themed wedding ring.

Nic Cage's Son Hospitalized for Mental Evaluation
Sources tell TMZ ... Weston was at The Farmer's Kitchen in Hollywood at around 4:00 today, when his trainer told him he couldn't eat something on the menu. For some reason, we're told Weston went off and started pushing the trainer in a violent way, at one point trying to roundhouse the trainer.
The trainer took Weston down, and someone else tried calming Nic's son down, to no avail. Weston got up and continued freaking out.
